The role will be predominantly client facing with a mix of requirement gathering, business analysis, project scoping, Functional Spec writing, implementation, post sales support and end user training.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis, design and development of SharePoint deployment/development projects
- Consulting with clients to determine requirements, performing system and architectural design
- Leading development streams, acting as the project technical lead and client liaison
- Involvement in pre-sales activities; giving technical input to proposals, delivering presentations
- Pushing the Sharepoint offering within the agency and being involved in gaining Microsoft partner status
Requirements:
- A consulting background with a record of delivering technical solutions within defined timeframes
- Strong development skills with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) and the .NET framework, especially C# and ASP.NET 2.0
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management, Collaboration and Portals
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (eg MCTS, MCPD)
